Public sector entities collect debts paid by using payment cards. Payments are executed at the entity’s website (ePOS application) or on EFT/POS devices installed at the entity’s service points.
The Public sector entity and the cooperating Payment Service Providers agree on the acceptable cards. Each transaction is approved exclusively by the card's issuer.
The Public sector entity is notified by DIAS of the transactions carried out, while the collected amounts are credited in the entity’s account at its cooperating Provider.
All transactions are secured in accordance to the PCI DSS standard.
