The DIAS Payment Service is DIAS’ interbank solution for bulk credit transfers and the settlement of bills and obligations through account-to-account payments.

Through the service, credit transfers are executed from one Payment Service Provider to all other Providers within the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA). At the same time, the service enables the settlement of bills and obligations using RF/QR payment codes.

The service infrastructure is fully aligned with the rules of the European SEPA Credit Transfer scheme, ensuring secure, fast and interoperable transactions.

The service is available through the Payment Service Providers participating in the DIAS Payment System, offering a unified framework for credit transfers and bill settlement at both national and European level.

For Businesses

From a single point and with a single action, payments and RF/QR settlements can be executed securely across all banks.

With the DIAS Payment Service, businesses and organisations can initiate bulk payments to all Banks within the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) as well as bill and obligation settlements with RF/QR—without delays, and with full control over their outgoing payments.

How it works

  1. The business collaborates with the Bank of its choice to send payments via the DIAS Payment Service.
  2. The Bank provides the operational specifications, and the business selects the preferred level of technical implementation—from simple to fully automated integration.
  3. The business becomes familiar with the management tool or conducts technical testing through a fully automated self-certification test environment.
  4. The business submits payments and RF/QR settlements via the service, either automatically by file transfer or interactively through its connection with DIAS.
  5. DIAS performs detailed validation of all payments, provides immediate processing feedback and delivers valid credit transfers as defined by the SEPA Credit Transfer scheme.
